Making me wonder about the things that on a good day can make us feel nicer. At our worst, turning us into vipers. It feels as though she silently judges and when we are at our best we love to look her right in the eyes. Knowing that what she tells us about ourselves will be words of pride. Although she thinks and says nothing we hear her as she speaks the things seeking to hide.
She has no brain or mouth to speak but the words speak at a pitch so high. Trying to alter what she tells us to fit what our ears would like to hear we alter her with filters to fit our little white lies. Which is fine with her because she thinks, sees, or hears nothing. What makes us hate or love her are the things in our own mind. She is our reflection.
When we look we see the surface trying to ignore what she tells us about are souls that scream loud and clear through the movements of stride. She is our reflection trying to speak to the soul inside. As we clash with our reflections we start to destroy the purity in her canvas forcing her to lie to us, not realizing the bashing we heard could not have come from what does not live and has no tongue to wag and never has.
At times we understand her and do not choose to run but asking her can this part of me be between me and you. Privacy is not a mask. In this there is no shame because the mirrors thoughts is your own perception. Privacy is a acceptable need in this belief not a single soul is willing to trash.
Many things are used for both good and bad like double sided mirrors if I might add. When used for no other purpose but to look in the mirror and see flaws belonging to what another lacks. Now when this mirror is used it makes one believe that they have silenced all of the demons from their own past. Looking over one’s self and into another’s wrath. Not realizing that the freedom of a pain pill doesn’t last. At times even allowing us to pile more pain in our soul’s stash.
A funny saying that I have heard many times is one individual calling another ‘a flawed individual.’ What is that? Since every human is an individual with flaws. Is it the result of a person feeling as if they are somehow better than another. Or is it that those with a good heart are not expected to fall?
So then when expectation of perfection is not met, they are seen as the only one with claws. Expectations of perfection in all directions is the problem hindering every good cause. We uphold the expectation no matter how false. Understanding that perfection is not real because it is a delusion, we must once again allow our own reflection to play after pause.
