This article will speak about the weight of being a wise woman. What is it about a woman with wisdom that hurts the feelings of society? Yes, I said, society. It is a social underbelly that happens all too often. I know that men have similar challenges in society, but as a woman I speak about these issues from a point of view pertaining to the challenges I, as well as other women, have faced.
It almost feels like a woman with wisdom threatens the egos of men and insecurities of women who feel like, “if another woman has a quality that she does not see within herself,” then she has to find ways to invalidate that other woman. Notice I said, ‘that she does not see within herself,’ meaning maybe she just doesn’t believe in the abilities in which she has already been blessed to behold or thinks that she should be the only woman who has extraordinary qualities.
Human to Human
It is not a gender-based problem because men suffer from some of societies frailties as well, but like I stated, this is my perspective as a woman reviewing what has become a growing form of abuse against the woman seeking to live the lifestyle of a virtuous woman. All to often the egos of men cause women to be scrutinized by trying to force women to feel like whores and even accusing them of being men. The weight of the crown is heavy for the being of a wise woman. Always remember, the Most High — placed that crown. So, hold your head high because he knows his vessels better than anyone.
Society Has Work To Do On The Basics of Humanity
The psychology of women being accused of being men says to me, that society is so threatened by a woman with a bright mind that they would rather steal the credit of her bright mind by suggesting that only a man could be so wise. It is also a way to sexually harass women by trying to make them feel as if they need to prove their womanhood. It makes those with the intentions to sexually harass a woman feel okay with looking under her skirt because they are so called, “making sure she is a woman.”
With that being said, these types of issues suggest that it is okay to dehumanize another human. Even if you truly believe a woman was born a man, is it okay to sexually harass transgendered individuals? The experiences I have gone through since I started to mentally elevate, allow me to empathize and see how so many people are dehumanized in societies due to someone else’s faults within themselves. My entire life I have never been accused of being a man until my wisdom started to display itself.
Our Wisdom Will Not Give It’s Honey and Be Stripped of The Comb In Which It Was Nourished
It is as if virtuous women are continually fighting to have a voice without the insecurities or egos of others attempting to reduce them down to either a whore or a man. Does it hurt that bad to admit that a woman is decent and wise without possessing the biological make-up of a man?
The measures that are taken to downplay a woman’s virtues are mind boggling. With all of that being said, so much deception is put into downplaying virtuous women all while society expects our crown to remain untilted. How hypocritical is it to require perfection from anyone, especially those you have worked so hard to tear down.
Why is society so against women striving to be virtuous? That is the question I will leave you with today.
